Interested in 2D/3D design and/or 3D Printing ?  The fpv quadcopter hobby is perfect to explore using tools such as TinkerCAD, Fusion 360 and QCAD, to name a few.   The three screen shots below are of designs I have made in each of those tools.   

And you don't need to have 3D printers or CNC machines to have your design creations come to fruition.   Various companies exist that can 3D print ( xometry, jacks3dprinting ) or CNC cut ( cncmadness.com, jacks3dprinting )  your designs for you.
